Swift Elite 4 Features
This list below explains all features present in the Swift Elite 4.0 release. Comments, requests, and suggestions are
welcome to improve the product.
Requirements:
- Windows XP SP2 or Vista
- Fast CPU (i.e. P4-1.8 GHz or higher).
- Sound Card (single or multiple)
- A 3D Accelerated Card (Direct3D Capable)
- Atleast 64 MB of Video Memory
- Around 256 MB RAM

- DirectX 9.0c
- Windows Media Player 10

Swift Elite takes advantage of DirectShow and Direct3D features - we use the DirectX 9.0 APIs,
as such we recommend you the latest version installed. Installing DirectX 9C will increase the video
performance. The latest Codecs installed with Windows Media Player 9 or 10 will allow more media types to
be supported. Installing Windows Media Encoder will give you Web Broadcast Capabilties.
If Direct3D is not available the program will warn you at the beginning and attempt to use the default adapter, if it is still not available the program will terminate.
Cross Fade Notes:
Fading can begin at either Deck (fading occurs between decks). If you only need the video to fade visit the preference in General Options and check the Crossfade Video Only (seperate the Audio from the Video Faders).
Configuring for a "Mix Now" button, enable the "Engage Deck w/ Manual Crossfade" option to have destination deck begin at cue point (or restart) when the crossfade is engaged.
Pictures and Video Sources:
Pictures and Video Sources will default to 2 minutes at first run (this option can be changed for both media types).

as a capture device will be listed, this includes Webcams, DV devices (camcorders), and Digital Cameras.

Known Issues:
- Do not attempt to play 2 CDGA (CDG Disc) Tracks in both Decks from the same disc
- Now Using Elecard Decoder
- DVD can now be played in all decks at the same time
- But same DVD drive accessed at same time will stutter (hardware issue)
- Requires more than one DVD drive to fade
- If issues with playback occur after installing Elecard, be sure to unregister the Elecard Components using the Component Manager (be sure not to unregister the Elecard MPEG2 Decoder and Moonlight Odio Decoder)
