Started as a hobby and a passion for Karaoke software it soon grew to a freeware player in 1995 and soon to follow an MP3+G player in 1998. In 2000 we officially formed TyrannoSoft and kicked off with WinCDG 1.00 and WinCDG-Pro 1.00. In 2002 we moved one step forward to open TriceraSoft and hope to continue the focus and commitment to our product and customers producing the strongest Mobile Dj, VJ, KJ, and Lighting Engineer software around.

Since 2000 our product line and features have grown steadily and we are committed to continuing our pioneering efforts and innovative software for years to come. TriceraSoft is primarily into producing software karaoke products for the PC, which we sell direct via the internet. All our products are available to download and try free of charge. We believe that you should be able to try before you buy so you know exactly what you are getting. As such, when you download you are downloading the actual product, and not some demo. Most features will be fully functional. In general, you will only be limited to playing or creating 60 seconds of a song. When you register you will be given a code to remove this restriction and make the software 100% functional.

Many of our software products have specific hardware requirements, which is another reason we allow you to try before buying. If you want to purchase the software please test all the features first to ensure everything is compatible, particularly the CD drive. We do not give refunds once the software is purchased.

Karaoke is simply a way to sing along with pre-recorded music. When the song is played the lyrics will be shown and highlighted to help you sing along. That's it! It's easy! And it's even easier now with a good computer system and some TriceraSoft software!

There are many forms of karaoke and as many ways to play them back. You could get yourself a traditional Karaoke player unit but you'd be missing out on all the amazing benefits of doing karaoke on the computer. One of the most popular forms of karaoke is the CD+G Karaoke disc. These look like standard CD's but they actually contain lyrics (in graphics form) as well. You need a special player to see the graphics, your regular CD player won't work. These discs can be played directly on the computer, or they can be imported (extracted/converted, ripped, stored etc) and put on your hard drive. They don't take up too much hard drive space. To play or import you will need a compatible computer CD drive. Refer to our CD+G compatible drive list for details. If your drive is on the list you are in luck, if not you will need to download one of our software products to test the drive yourself.
