Can I play my CD+G discs on my PC? - Yes, provided your CD drive is capable of reading CD+G discs. Many do not. See the drive list for details. Recommended Software: WinCDG-Pro2, Mimic Audition 2, Swift Elite.

Can I store my discs on the PC hard drive? - Yes, WinCDG-Pro2, Mimic Audition 2, and Swift Elite can "rip" your tracks to the hard drive as MP3+G or KMF. After that you do not require the original disc (it can be safely stored to avoid damage).

Can I use a laptop? - Yes, provided the minimum hardware requirements are met. Most laptops do not have CD+G capable drives, but you could use an external drive. See the drivelist for details.

Do you support multiple screens? - Yes, as part of the standard windows multi-monitor support. You can drag the main or lyrics window to the secondard monitor as desired. See the Display options page for more info.

Do you support TV output? - Yes, if you have a video card with TV output. See the Display options page for more info.

Do you support pitch control? - Yes, our latest products can perform independant pitch and tempo control (one does not affect the other like a speed control would).
Pitch controls the frequencies but without changing the speed of the song. Tempo affects the speed of the song but will not change the pitch.

Can I copy my CD+G discs? - No, we do not support DISC DUPLICATION. Our software does not "burn" discs. We recommend you try CDRWin by GoldenHawk.

Can I play other files, such as MP3, WMA, MPG, etc? - Yes, most of our software also works as general multimedia players.

Can I play Karaoke VCD discs? - Yes, WinCDG-Pro2, Mimic Audition 2, and Swift Elite can play Karaoke VCD discs plus regular VideoCD discs.

Can I play DVD discs? - Yes, Mimic Audition 2 and Swift Elite can play DVD discs provided you have a DirectX compatible DVD codec.

Can I make my own CD+G discs? - MBryo and Lyrics Editor with CDG plugin can create CDG files and BIN files for burning to CD+G discs.
- Any of our conversion tools can extract to BIN files which can be used to resort tracks.
- To write BIN file you need a third-party program called CDRWin or Nero 6

Can I convert my ripped files (MP3+G or KMF) to BIN or write them back to disc? - Yes, our conversion tools can convert MP3+G or KMF back to BIN. You must use CDRWin to write back the BIN to CD+G disc

Can I use your software for professional GIGs? - Yes, we have many customers using Pro2, Mimic Audition, Mimic Audition 2 and Swift Elite for their gigs. Swift Elite is the highest product we have currently and features professional level functions and tools, such as database, recording, vocal removal, sound-fx, dual decks and playlists, video and audio crossfading, and more.

Can the software be controlled with the keyboard? - Yes, all our software can be controlled via the keyboard for most major functions, though you will need the mouse for some features. Look to Swift Elite for the Quick Key Management feature (Swift Elite can also be controlled by remote controls)

Which product supports the most karaoke formats? - Mimic Audition 2 supports: CD, DVD, CD+G, VCD, MP3, MP3+G , KMF, AVI, MIDI (KAR), and KSF. The additional Lyrics Editor program can also read additional formats and convert them to KSF for playback in Mimic Audition (ie: MP3 with IDTag, OKE, Dart, Video Karaoke, Blue Labelle etc).

Can you play MP3+MCG? - No, but we are working to add support for MCG files.
